• Dedicated time with parents or carers to share progress, strategies, and next steps
At Life Skills Dojo, collaboration with families is central. Parents and carers play a vital role in their child’s growth, so you’ll be supported with clear guidance and tools to continue progress at home.
Because real change happens both inside and outside the therapy room.
Managing Anxiety
Children learn to understand how anxiety shows up in their thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and bodies.
Together, we explore what’s happening and why, then build a personalised toolkit of practical strategies to help them feel calmer, more confident, and in control.
This might include:
• coping skills for worry and stress
• emotional regulation tools
• gentle exposure and confidence-building
• relaxation and body-based strategies
• simple plans they can use at home or schoolThe goal is not just to reduce anxiety, but to help your child feel capable, resilient, and supported in everyday life.
Optimising Sleep for Wellbeing:
Good sleep is the foundation for emotional, behavioural, and physical wellbeing.
This service begins with a comprehensive consultation to understand your child’s sleep patterns, family routines, parenting style, and the unique factors contributing to sleep difficulties.
Together, we create a personalised, practical plan that supports better sleep for the whole family.
Sessions include:
